Description

This complex and expressive whisky is matured in American oak and Oloroso sherry casks and is old enough to rent a car. Intense aromas of raisin, fresh raspberries and rhubarb custard pie leap from the glass, leading to powerful flavours of nuts, herbs, dried fruit, spice and wood smoke on the impressive palate.

Tasting Notes

Fine Old English marmalade and violet candy in a rich and complex bouquet of aromas. A lightly peated smoke, fine wood tannins. Long aftertaste; dried fruit, spicy oak and delicate peat. Score - Gold Medal. (International Wine & Spirit Competition, 2014)
